Cleveland

Just outside of Huntington you will find that Cleveland has a rich and diverse heritage, rooted from the early pioneers. This city is a great center for all kinds of outdoor excursions like fishing, hunting, and camping. Despite all of the fun attractions Cleveland offers, it still maintains it’s small town charm and friendly atmosphere.

Emery

Emery is one of the smaller cities to the west of the Swell. The vibrant coal mining history can be seen throughout town. While mostly residential, this city is home to Castle Valley Outdoors, a premier pheasant hunting lodge. If you have some down time enjoy the public library to grab a quick read, or even catch some of the locals working on a quilt.

Orangeville

Best known as the last town on the way out to Joes Valley (popular for bouldering), this city is on the edge of the Manti-La Sal National Forest. The city is at the junction of State Route 29 and 57, straddling the banks of Cottonwood Creek. There is even Welcome Park, a perfect place to stop and play catch and frisbee in the well maintained fenced grass area.

Castle Dale

Castle Dale lies on the north side of Cottonwood Creek, a tributary of the San Rafael River. As the county seat, this city has a lot to offer! From the Museum of the San Rafael, to the Aquatic Center (with indoor and outdoor pools), and small restaurants and shops this city makes for a great stop-over in the region.

Ferron

A small city nestled in between the Swell and the Manti-La-Sal Mountains. With a small downtown, it is easy to drive by this sleepy little town, but don’t count Ferron out! Better known for Millsite State Park, located on the eastern edge of the city, this city is primely located and has a growing business community.
